MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATIONS 2023

This year we celebrated Mother’s Day with a delicious morning/afternoon tea and activities for mums to enjoy with their children. The menu was created by our wonderful executive chef Tawnya Bahr and prepared by our amazing in-house chefs Ryan, Ken and Frankie.

All the mums received beautiful potted plants and flowers as a gift. The children planted these with the help of Sadie, our garden lady. Through gardening the children learn not only about plants and how to care for them, but also have the opportunity to practice their fine motor skills and feel a sense of achievement when they see the plant they potted grow. The children also painted the pots beautifully, creating a truly unique and thoughtful gift for their mum.

At our St Ives Centre mums got to enjoy flower-making with their children as well as have fun at the pamper station and be creative together at the jewellery making stations. At Orchard ELC Kirrawee the children enjoyed being creative with their mums. Using lots of different materials they curated a beautiful collage that will be displayed at the centre.
