ENROLMENTS

Orchard Early Learning Centre enrols children into our centres from a waitlist. This waitlist is free to join and places are offered to children based on the date of application and by the age of your child. We enrol children as places become available throughout the year. There are many factors that are taken into consideration in determining the allocation of places, including the days available, the age of the child, and the group dynamics.

You are most welcome to visit the centre to meet our friendly and professional educators, to learn more about our education program. Please call our Enrolments Team to arrange a time, then we can make sure that we are available to show you around and answer any questions you may have.

When a position becomes available our Enrolments Team will email you an enrolment pack to complete. You will have 48 hours to complete and return your enrolment pack with supporting documentation. A comprehensive orientation interview with the Director of the service will be available upon successfully securing a place.

In your enrolment email you will receive all the information you need to start your journey with Orchard Early Learning Centre. We’ll cover the days you require care, our fee schedule, Child Care Subsidy information and ways to pay your child care fees via direct debit. You will also be required to complete and provide essential documents to confirm your enrolment including:

  1. Enrolment Form

  2. Direct Debit Form

  3. Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport

SUBSIDY

Your subsidy will be subtracted from the full fees owing, leaving a gap fee which is the amount families pay to the Centre. The subsidy a family receives is determined by the Government and not by Orchard Early Learning Centre. The amount depends on the families employment and study activities. More information can be found here.

ADDITIONAL CHILDCARE SUBSIDY

Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to apply for Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) from the Government over and above the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). The Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) is a Temporary Financial Hardship payment designed to support families experiencing significant financial stress due to exceptional circumstances. To discuss your individual circumstances, please contact our enrolments consultant for further support.
